I even blogged that he had 'Lincoln' stature and his day had not yet come, people were expecting too much too soon.

Signing NDAA into law today shows how it didn't matter that he beat McCain because McCain's ideology as expressed in his bill is now the law of the land, and the continent, through NDAA. Primary reasons why people voted for Obama over McCain have now been made moot.

Wondering how much of a surge to Ron Paul is happening as we speak, or whether fear of being accused and branded through NDAA will keep his now, much-needed support that has been waiting and watching, at bay.Steve Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06960364395701483057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3248065179634488001.post-86633015940710068352011-12-15T08:03:37.145-08:002011-12-15T08:03:37.145-08:00Ed. I still remember when I was a crossing guard at PS 91 in Brooklyn and an old Italian grandmother said about me " Some day he is going to be president" Thank God I am not!Mark Naisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00610048248462814950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3248065179634488001.post-20675160189815114602011-12-15T07:43:34.362-08:002011-12-15T07:43:34.362-08:00So true, every word. At a General Assembly meeting of Occupy Bozeman last night we were talking about the concept of 'leadership." In this culture leadership means accumulating power and recognition. This "leads" to either being bought off or killed. Occupy is trying to work from a new paradigm. Eliciting leadership from the collective is difficult and puzzles the hell out of the ruling class and press. "what do they want?" "Who is their leader?" Everything and no one are answers they cannot fathom.
Ed Scheterlak, Bozeman MontanaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03955924477720794042noreply@blogger.com
