Young people today face as formidable a challenge as we did in the Sixties. Dismantling legal segregation and challenging white supremacy, protesting the Vietnam War, and fighting for Women's Liberation and Gay Rights were formidable undertakings; but no more so than taking on Climate Change and the growth of the Prison Industrial Complex, coupled with the unprecedented concentration of wealth in a small number of hands, and the deterioration of the living standards of working Americans. You can avoid the challenge, confront it head on, or become a cog in the wheel, or if you are particularly ambitious, a servant of the emerging Plutocracy. Your choice.
