My Dream for the Children of the Bronx

I have a dream that some day, the children of the Bronx, and children in communities like it, will have

Recess
Arts programs of all kinds.
Lunch at a decent hour
The 120 minutes of physical education they are legally entitled to
School counselors who have caseloads under 500 students
School teams for everyone that wants them
After school programs where they can study, play and create
Ell teachers who know the languages of their home countries
Teachers and principals who don't work in terror losing jobs because of test results
Freedom from arbitrary searches in their schools and in the streets

Is that too much to ask?
